Orbild was founded by Gabriel Mafra and Leo Cunha to build software people actually use: our own products, projects for clients and Workshops that teach anyone to create with AI.

The name

Orbit + Build.

An orbit is movement with a center. Building is what turns a plan into something real. Orbild is both: we keep a project circling its goal until it exists.

Gabriel Mafra

Co-founder · Design and engineering

Gabriel has spent more than 10 years designing and building websites and learning platforms for teams in the United States, from the first wireframe in Figma to the live site.

Before Orbild he ran his own design and web studio, We Talk Designs, creating sites and visual identities for small and medium businesses. AI tools like Claude, Codex and Gemini are part of his daily work.

Leo Cunha

Co-founder · Product and technology

Leo has more than 30 years of experience building software for education: learning management systems, school systems, assessment platforms and, today, applied AI for learning and careers.

He has led product and technology teams, designed platforms used by school districts across the United States and worked on award-winning open education products. He started his career in the U.S. Army, is a veteran of the Army and the National Guard, and speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish.
